2018 SUMMER PROGRAM

The summer months present a wonderful opportunity to study dance. We offer a wide variety of programs during the summer for the very youngest dancers to the pre-professional student.

BOYS SUMMER INTENSIVE

This is the first year for our boys summer intensive. This level is for students that have had at least one year of ballet training or students that are enrolled in levels 3, 4 or 5. This program is designed to provide an engaging and fun environment for young male dancers with a predominantly male teaching staff.

SUMMER INTENSIVE

Placement is by teacher recommendation, live audition or video audition. If applying via video audition it should be no more than 10 minutes in length and contain the following: one side of barre work that includes plies, tendu, degage, devellope and grand battement. In center you should include an adagio, a pirouette combination that includes pirouette en dehors from 4th, and a petitie allegro

OPEN CLASSES

Pre-professionals and professionals welcome. New level this summer in the open class schedule is for 9-12 yrs of age or Ballet 3 thru Ballet 5.
Cost per class is $15 or 10 classes for $125.
***All classes are to be paid in advance***
Dancers will need to keep their punch card with them and give to the teacher prior to class.

DANCE CAMPS

Dance camps are weeklong, half-day summer camps for new dancers ages 3½ to 6 or dancers currently enrolled in Pre-School, Kinder, or Ballet I. Students will take a pre-ballet class that introduces them to the building blocks of classical ballet as well as developing musicality, coordination, and a love of movement. Afterwards students participate in other fun and educational activities including learning about famous ballets, studying nutrition and anatomy, and creating a dance scrapbook.

GOTTA DANCE! BROADWAY SUMMER INTENSIVE

Do you have a child that just has to sing and or dance? This 1 week intensive will pack a punch with Drama, Jazz, Tap / Rhythm, and Voice! In addition, we will have guest speakers that will give participants a new perspective and knowledge of what all goes into making a Broadway production.
