Welcome

To All New Students, Returning Students and Parents,

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year term. We are all very excited about the possibilities and opportunities that will be unfolding in the coming year. We are currently in the midst of our summer classes and also preparing for our new school term.  This year we will begin classes on Monday, August 23rd and finish with our recital on June 11th.  The program has expanded from a nine month to a ten month program.  We hope you will enjoy this new format.

Once you have registered please familiarize yourself with our calendar, policies and schedules.  This will help all involved to have a fulfilling year of dance training and performing.  We have exciting events planned for this year.  We will be performing The Nutcracker at BSU Special Events Center in December and this opportunity is open to all students that are six years old as of September 1, 2010.  Back by popular demand is our Father Daughter Winter Ball on February 11th at Boise Centre on the Grove.  This year the theme of the ball will be “An Enchanted Evening” and will feature an evening of dance, a beautiful buffet of desserts, with the chocolate fountain as the centerpiece, an auction and a performance by Eagle Performing Ensemble.  This is Eagle Performing Ensemble’s biggest fundraiser and helps us to produce The Nutcracker, provide expanded educational opportunities for the Ensemble, and fund our scholarship program.  This is an evening for fathers and daughters to remember for years! Recital will be at Nampa Civic Center on Saturday, June 11, 2011.  Performance time for younger dancers will be 4:00pm, and for the older dancers 7:00pm.

Registration begins July 1, 2010.  We look forward to your family’s participation with Eagle Performing Arts Center.  If you would like to discuss any questions or concerns with us prior to the start of the coming year, please call for an appointment and we would be happy to visit with you over the summer.

Congratulations on choosing to expose your child to a classical art form that is steeped in tradition and discipline.   Dancers will carry the positive benefits of dance training with them throughout their lives.

Sincerely,

Jeff and Cathy Giese
